Tonight’s district matchup between the Bobcats (11-5) and the Princeton Panthers (18-4) is sure to be a great one! The Celina varsity basketball team advanced their conference record to 2-0 after defeating the Melissa Cardinals 72-69 on Tuesday evening at home, moving up to 2nd place in District. Meanwhile, the Princeton Panthers are coming off a devastating 55-61 loss against Aubrey, dropping their district record to 1-1. Aubrey is currently leading the 4A-District 11.
On Tuesday night against the Cardinals, top scorers for the Bobcats included Bryson Brown with 22, Kobe Ollison with 16, Garrison Williams with 15 – followed by Noah Ross with 9 and Hayden Hollin with 5 points. Celina will be looking for top performances from these guys tonight and will need to focus on shutting down the Panthers’ leading scorers – Haven Ousley and Aimmin Chouaibi tonight to secure the victory. We have the scoring advantage, and if we play our game, should advance to 3-0 in District tonight! #WeAreCelina #BobcatHoops #CelinaHYPE
