The Celina Bobcat basketball team took on the Caddo Mills Foxes in the first round of playoffs last night at McKinney Boyd High School. The momentum on the court was always extremely high…each team gave the game everything they had! At the end of the first quarter, the Bobcats trailed 8-11 and by the end of the first half they were down by only one point. Celina went into the locker room at the half trailing 19-20.
Both teams came out battling in the 3rd quarter. The Bobcats fell a little further behind, ending the quarter 32-37. Sadly, this trend continued and with multiple fouls in the fourth quarter, the Bobcats were defeated with a final score of 48-56. These guys played their hearts out…and although their playoff season is over, we are so proud of all that they accomplished this season! An amazing run Celina…District Champs!! Congratulations on a phenomenal season.
