A Big Day for BIG Taste at Tender Smokehouse

It was a BIG day at Celina’s newest hot spot, Tender Smokehouse. The “Texas chic” curbside appeal is the perfect marriage of class and grit, that provides a built in, intoxicating and unmistakable aroma of smokey barbeque Heaven. Celina residents, Chamber members, city officials and friends all gathered outside of Celina’s newest downtown jewel to celebrate the grand opening and “birthday dream come true” for Tender’s owner and pit boss, Dante Ramirez.

Ramirez, along with his girlfriend and self-claimed better half Audra, who encouraged him to follow his dream of opening the location, partnered with friends Eddie Bell, Torii Hunter and his wife Katrina to complete the vision for Tender.

The group all spoke of the detail that went into the planning and décor for the venue, building the business around the luck of the number 5, representing the 5 partners. Tender is open 5 days a week and adds no more than 5 ingredients to their recipes. State Representative Scott Sanford was in attendance to support the 5 friends, declaring that the state flag flew over the Capitol today to honor the opening of the Smoke House. Sanford cleverly pointed out that the star on the Texas Flag he gifted the owners also has 5 points.

Tender’s doors officially opened on September 5th and their staff, who are best known for taking great pride in their excellent customer service skills, have been wowing their patrons with what might one day be known as the best brisket, pork, spare ribs, jalapeno sausage, sandwiches and loaded baked potatoes that Texas has to offer.

There is nothing better than celebrating 5 friends who have come together to create a vision for a community that God led them to and that they are all so proud to be a part of. Ramirez thanked the citizens of Celina for their limitless support and contribution to the success they’ve already experienced.
