City of Celina Engagement Day on the Square – June 22

On June 22, 2018, the City of Celina will be hosting Engagement Day on the Square from 10:30am to 6:00pm at 229 W Pecan Street!

Engagement Day on the Square is an opportunity to learn and collaborate with the Downtown Master Plan Team and will include activities and discussions on how to revitalize Downtown, what Downtown should look like, and different design concepts.

The event is a part of a larger Downtown Master Plan effort to create a clear vision for the future of the Downtown Historic Square and surrounding areas. Celina residents have noted Downtown’s key role in the community, and the Plan will address the existing conditions in the area, as well as future opportunities and strategies, and the physical aspects of development and the economic impacts that it could bring.

The event includes a come-and-go Open Design Studio from 10:30am-4pm and then a Presentation of the day’s work at 5:00pm.
