Celina Police Association’s 2019 Poker Night

You’ve probably heard that The Celina Police Association’s 2018 Poker Night was a huge success! The event was the association’s primary fundraising event for the year with proceeds benefitting the association, their Scholarship Fund and Officer Down Fund. The Poker Night was held at Tender Smokehouse on the downtown square and included some MLB greats like: Torii Hunter, Michael Young, Matthew Kemp, and others.

If you missed out on the fun, you’ve probably been anticipating news about the 2019 version of what is now an annual event and we’ve got the details for you! This year’s event will be held on January 29, 2019 at The Venue at Waterstone on CR 133 and CR 134. Tender Smokehouse will provide their AMAZING BBQ for attendees!!

The association is looking to expand the event and hopes to have 30+ professional athletes there and over 300 spectators and players in attendance. If you’d like to get in on the action and play, tickets are $250 each. If cards aren’t your thing but you still want to show your support, you can attend as a spectator for $125. Please be aware that spots are limited.

No winnings/money will be paid out, as that would be illegal…and you know, they are a POLICE Association! Each reservation, however, will qualify you for exciting giveaways throughout the night. All proceeds will benefit the Celina Police Association, which is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization. Reservations may be tax deductible but, you should refer to your tax professional with any questions

The members of the Celina Police Association would like to say a special thanks to Mr. Torii Hunter for his efforts in making last year’s event such a huge success. It was with his help that the event came to fruition and can now be an annual event in honor and support of the people who deserve it the most…our very own who protect and serve!!!
